We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your decision content for advertising targeting.
3. AI Processing of Your Data
The core function of Clarivo involves sending the text of your decisions to OpenAI's API for analysis. This means:
- The content of your decisions is transmitted to OpenAI's servers for processing
- OpenAI's own privacy policy and data use terms apply to this processing
- We do not use your decision data to train AI models
- We recommend not submitting highly sensitive personal information (such as passwords, financial account numbers, or medical records) in your decision descriptions
4. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored on servers hosted by Railway (railway.app). We implement reasonable technical and organizational security measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and secure authentication tokens.
No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
5. Data Retention
We retain your account information and decision history for as long as your account is active. You may export your complete decision history at any time from your account settings. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us at support@myclarivo.com. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.
6. Third-Party Services
Clarivo uses the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policies:
- OpenAI — AI analysis engine (openai.com/privacy)
- Stripe — payment processing for subscriptions (stripe.com/privacy)
- Resend — transactional email delivery (resend.com/privacy)
- Google AdSense — advertising shown to free-tier users only (paid subscribers do not see ads)
- Railway — infrastructure hosting (railway.app/privacy)
- Google OAuth — optional sign-in with Google (accounts.google.com)
7. Cookies and Tracking
Clarivo uses cookies for the following purposes:
- Authentication cookies — to keep you securely logged in to your account
- Preference cookies — to remember your settings and preferences
- Advertising cookies — Google AdSense may set cookies for free-tier users to serve relevant ads. Paid subscribers (Starter, Pro, Elite) do not receive ads and are not subject to advertising cookies.

- Correction — request correction of inaccurate data
- Deletion — request deletion of your account and personal data
- Export — download your decision history in CSV format from your account settings

9. Children's Privacy
Clarivo is not intended for users under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately and we will delete it.

Clarivo is operated from the United States. If you are accessing the service from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States where our servers are located and our central database is operated.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by email or by posting a prominent notice on the Service. Your continued use of Clarivo after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new policy.
